What we can take off your hands

Five IT services for businesses and organisations, and one for events and performing arts. Each one is scoped in writing and ends with a handover you can use.

IT systems setup and configuration

When a team grows, moves office or replaces equipment, the IT environment is often assembled in a hurry. We plan the setup with you first and then configure it step by step, so every device and account has a reason to exist and a record of how it was configured.

What is included

  • Inventory of the devices, accounts and software licences you already hold
  • Configuration of workstations and user accounts to an agreed standard
  • Set-up of shared file storage and access rights by role
  • Basic office network configuration and labelling
  • A short written handover describing what was configured and why

A good fit for: Small and medium-sized teams opening a new office, onboarding several people at once or replacing ageing equipment.

Scheduled IT administration

Most IT problems in small organisations come from tasks that nobody owns: updates that wait, accounts of former staff that stay active, storage that slowly fills up. We agree a written list of routine tasks and a schedule, then carry them out and report back.

What is included

  • A written maintenance plan with tasks and frequency agreed in advance
  • Applying updates to the systems and devices in scope
  • Reviewing user accounts and access rights when people join or leave
  • Monitoring storage use and system health on the agreed schedule
  • A brief report after each maintenance round

A good fit for: Organisations without an in-house IT person that want routine work handled predictably. This is planned work, not a helpline.

Data backup and migration

A backup is only useful if files can be restored from it. We help you decide what needs protecting, set up a backup routine that matches that decision, and test restoring from it. When data has to move to a new system, we plan the migration so that nothing is lost on the way.

What is included

  • Mapping which data matters most and how often it changes
  • Setting up a backup routine with clear retention rules
  • Restore tests, documented so you can repeat them
  • Migration planning, test runs and a final verified transfer
  • Clean-up of the old storage once the move is confirmed

A good fit for: Teams that have never tested a restore, or that are changing file storage, email or business software.

Website and web server administration

Company websites often depend on a domain, a hosting account and a set of plugins or components that were configured years ago. We document how your web presence is put together, keep the technical side maintained and make sure the access details belong to your company.

What is included

  • Overview of domain, DNS records, hosting and certificates
  • Updates of the website platform and its components
  • Server and application configuration reviews
  • Recording all access credentials in a place your company controls
  • Technical support during website changes or moves

A good fit for: Businesses whose website was built by someone who is no longer around, or that want one clear owner for the technical side.

IT systems review and documentation

Before changing anything, it helps to know what you have. We review your devices, accounts, software, data storage and the way people actually use them, and write it down in plain language. You receive a document your team can use, whether or not you work with us afterwards.

What is included

  • Interviews with the people who use the systems daily
  • Review of devices, accounts, storage and key software
  • Identification of single points of failure and unclear ownership
  • A prioritised list of recommendations
  • Documentation that stays with your company

A good fit for: Managers who need an honest overview before budgeting, hiring or changing providers.

Technical support for events and performing arts

Alongside IT work, the company's registered activities include technical support for art and performing arts. We help organisers plan and run the technical side of a performance or event: equipment lists, set-up, operation during the show and a tidy take-down.

What is included

  • Technical planning based on the venue and programme
  • Equipment lists and set-up schedules
  • Sound and lighting set-up and operation during the event
  • Coordination with venue staff and performers
  • Take-down and a short follow-up after the event

A good fit for: Event organisers, choirs, ensembles and cultural organisations preparing a performance.

What we do not do

To keep things clear: we do not operate a helpline or provide technical support on behalf of any software or hardware brand. We do not sell devices or licences. We work only on systems and equipment that you own or have the right to manage, under a written agreement.

Pricing

We do not publish fixed prices because the scope of each assignment differs. You receive a written proposal with the work, the timeline and the cost before anything starts.
